Rainbow Sierrans Bolinas Birding Walk

You're invited to join legendary birder, conservationist, outdoorsman, artist, and local treasure Keith Hansen for a very special 4-hour guided Rainbow Sierrans Bolinas Birding Walk on the morning of Sunday, October 28th. We'll meet at 8:00 AM at the Coffee Kiosk in front of the Coast Cafe in beautiful downtown Bolinas. Next door is Keith’s gallery where we can use the facilities and observe some of the birds visiting his many feeders. We'll work our way through town visiting some of Keith's favorite birdy locations including Duxbury Reef to observe seabirds and rocky shorebirds, the Bolinas Lagoon for Ducks and Shorebirds and Pine Gulch Creek for migratory song birds. Bring your binoculars, scopes, field guides, and cameras. Wear layered clothing, comfortable shoes (expect to walk a couple of relaxed miles), a lightweight folding chair if you have one, plus water and a snack to share. Cost is $25 per person with the group limited to 14 participants. This outing is about enjoying nature at a comfortable pace and being open to whatever presents itself.
