Rob Hill is located amid a beautiful eucalyptus grove on The Presidio’s highest point, overlooking Baker Beach. The Ishmen group campsite belongs to GLS for the weekend before Earth Day. It sports restrooms (no showers), a campfire circle, a free-standing grill, and picnic tables. This is a unique opportunity to pitch a tent in both a National Park and the City and County of San Francisco, enjoy s’mores cooked over a campfire, and wake up in the woods to the sounds of nature.

Activities planned for the weekend include a service project Saturday morning followed by optional BBQ lunch. In the afternoon we'll offer a hike. On Saturday night we'll have a potluck and campfire.

The $25 registration fee covers camping for two nights.

GLS members and friends who are not able to join us overnight are welcome to participate in the work day, hike, and/or evening.
