  • Tenneesee Valley

Tenneesee Valley is a popular area for hiking with its many inter-connecting trails. We'll do a loop hike that takes us onto the Coastal trail where there are scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay and the San Francisco high risers. We'll first start our hike at Marincello Trailhead and end our hike on Old Springs trail.

Hike Level: Strenuous(3B) Elevation gain approx. 2000 feet.

We share the trails with mountain bikers Because it's a popular area, parking can be challenging...add 10 minutes or so for parking. One restroom on the Coastal Trail at our half way point. Most of the hike is exposed...bring sunscreen, hats, and layer of clothing

Bring lunch and plenty of water (there is no water available on the trails). Rain cancels hike.

No dogs allowed.

*Where to Meet* - There are picnic tables under the trees on the left side of the road... just before you get to the main parking area and the restrooms.

Directions:From Hwy. 101: Take Stinson Beach, highway 1 exit. Go about 1/8 to 1/4 mile (depending on which direction you are coming from) and make a left on Tenneessee Valley Road. Drive to the end of the road.
