Join the Rainbow Sierrans Winter Getaway at Clair Tappaan Lodge over the President's Day Holiday Weekend. Nestled in the woods on historic Donner Pass at 7,000 feet, Clair Tappan Lodge offers a rustic mountain retreat for our snow bound adventurers. Follow in the footsteps of Sierra Club volunteers, who built the lodge in the 1930's, and enjoy snowshoeing, skiing and sledding Saturday and Sunday, while we enjoy warm, cozy bunks in our own dorm room at night- you might even find time to enjoy a dip in the hot tub. Breakfast, lunch (packed up for our outings) and dinner are all included in the price. Official trip nights are Friday and Saturday, Feb 14 and 15. You can also reserve Sunday night, Feb 16, as well if you want. We will plan on group snow activities on Saturday and Sunday. Price per person (including Sierra Club discount, all meals and taxes) is $91.52 PER PERSON/PER NIGHT ($183.04 for 2 nights, $274.56 for 3 nights) Registration information and trip details will be sent to the Rainbow Sierrans member list-serve, so make sure your membership is up to date!
