Join the Rainbow Sierrans on a 3-day camping trip to Salt Point State Park on the Sonoma Coast.

Salt Point State Park is located 30 minutes north of Jenner on Route 1.  The Park covers 6000 acres with 6 miles of rocky coastline featuring secluded coves, fascinating tafoni rock formations, and spectacular views and sunsets.

The Park offers 20 miles of hiking trails that offer options of hiking along the coastal bluffs or inland to a pygmy forest.   Other activities include beach combing, tide pooling, or visiting Fort Ross State Historic Park a few miles to the south.

The club will offer a variety of organized hikes of different lengths/difficulty, and evening activities will include a pot-luck and other activities depending on interests of the group...Game night? Sing-along?  Dance party?  We will be camping at Warren Group Site.  This site offers picnic tables, fire ring with grills,  potable water, and restrooms.  Parking will be limited; carpooling is highly encouraged. There are no showers at the campground.  The trip leaders are Paget Valentzas and Michelle Trudeau.
