This moderate 6.5 mile loop hike with 600 ft. elevation will pass through many of the highlights of the Presidio: The new Tunnel Tops, overlooks such as Golden Gate Bridge, Immigrant Point, Pacific Overlook, the National Cemetery and Inspiration Point. We'll also see two of Andy Goldsworthy sculptures and take a stroll down Lover's Lane.
MEET: between 10 and 10:15 am in front of the Visitor's Center near the Transit Center and Lincoln and Anza. Allow time for parking, restroom, sign-in. If you're early, you can check out the Visitor's Center. PROMPT 10:30 DEPARTURE
TRANSIT: You can catch the free PresidiGo Shuttle from the Transbay Terminal or Embarcadero BART. The #43, #29 and #30 Muni Metro lines pass very close.
PARKING: There is plenty of easy, paid parking right across the street from meeting point. You can still park for free at Crissy Field East Beach. It's a 10-15 min. walk from rendezvous spot.
BRING: Water, snacks and/or lunch and layers for San Francisco's capricious weather
Dogs: Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome, provided they remain on non-retractable leashes.
