Registration opens Mon, 1/6/25, at 9am
Fee: $80.00 per person
Join San Francisco Rainbow Sierrans and Loma Prieta Pride Sierrans on a 4-night Death Valley camping trip. Space is limited to 20 participants. The trip is open to all members of RS and LPPS and their kids. Participants must be members of either Rainbow Sierras or Loma Prieta Pride Sierrans to register.
Our large group campsite is in Furnace Creek Campground. It has picnic tables, drinking water, dishwashing stations, flush toilets, nearby commercial showers, plenty of room for tents and on-site parking for 10 vehicles.
We plan to offer day hikes including some easy to the more demanding, depending on our group. Our daily itinerary is not rigid and flexibility among participants will enhance our group experience. Our traditional potluck will occur the second night of camping; optional, of course.
- Pets are NOT allowed; this applies to emotional support animals as well.
- All food and camping gear must be provided by each participant.
- Campers and converted vans are NOT permitted.
- Camping overnight with the group is also required; you cannot leave the group to stay in a hotel and rejoin the group the next day.
