Tuolumne Meadows Join the Fun
August 13-17, 2026
Come spend a long weekend in Tuolumne Meadows with your Rainbow Sierrans family! Although you won't be camping with us, we look forward to your joining us for a variety of daily activities--hiking, camaraderie around a propane fire pit, a potluck dinner, and the option for game night, campfire sing alongs, star gazing, book reading, and whatever your heart desires. Some may want to explore Tenaya Lake, go fishing, or leave the park and head east to visit Lee Vining, Mono Lake or even the hot springs at Bridgeport.
Once you secure accommodations at an individual site, Tuolumne Meadows Lodge or a nearby campground register with us.
Fine Print: Please read the following information to make sure this trip is right for you before registering:
Cost: $20.00 per person for Rainbow Sierran members; Nonmembers can register after joining Rainbow Sierrans. If you don't have a National Parks Pass, there is also a $35/car fee to enter Yosemite Park (good for 7 days).
Elevation: Tuolumne Meadows is at 8,600 ft.
Cancellation: The last day to cancel and get a refund (less $10 administrative fee) is August 1. Read entire cancellation policy before registering: Outing Registration and Cancellation Policies
Medical Information: in the registration, we will be asking for medical information so that our trip and hike leaders will know in advance of special medical conditions you may have, rather than learning about them in a crisis. This information will be kept confidential. To prepare for registration on the 16th, fill out the medical form in advance. Follow link, fill out medical form. Carpooling: We strongly encourage carpooling. There are only 5 cars allowed. There are fields in the registration form to help you connect with others.
